Colouring wool

Finally I am home again from work and I was not lazy this week. But I just did things I wanted to do.

I ordered some Ashford colours while being away at work and yesterday I tried them. It was great fun to see the results. Unfortunatley I was a bit scared of the whole thing so I coulored not so much fiber.

But well there is a new week coming. I think I will colour some more wool:)

And ofc the upper picture is from the yarn I spun out of the fiber today. I rly, rly love it.

Smelly yarn:)

Before i leave the island on friday for some work i wanted to show you what I made the last days.

I wrote smelly yarn, cause its made from unwashed sheep fiber. But it was easy to spin with. And my mother in law allready uses it for a garnment.

I made no soap this period, I was not motivated enough. So its lot to do in march, when iam back.

The upper picture is showing some wintermood, with dogs here on the island...it is so wonderfull outside:)

Fun in the snow

After all christmas and new year and all sticky toffee pudding I started traing my 2 dogs again. On the left side you can see Alvin (8 month old) and on the right its Atilla (3 years old). On the picture they are enjoying the snowy side of life. Unfortunatley for them and for the rest of the family the snow is smelting now, but iI hope it will come back soon. We had some wonderfull winterweather during the last week and we all enjoyed ice scating and playing outside in the snow

Nicer than "Sticky Toffee Pudding"?

Hello and happy new year. I started the year with changing my Blogname. The reason for that is that I want to start writing about other stuff in my life not only soapmaking and therefor this one fits better.
Other thing is, that I will turn over to write my Blog in english language. ...sure iam not a perfect english writer but I will need less time writing and hopefully I will use my blogg a bit more.
Thats actually the main reason..

I start the first new year blog with a picture of my favourite food at the moment: Sticky Toffee Pudding. Made it for the second time after visiting London, and I rly love it:))
Hurray for english food.

Other things which are new in my Blog are the links to my 2 favourite Labrador breeders and to my WOW guild. I hope you will have a look at them.

Frohes Neues Jahr

Hallo Ihr Lieben Blogleser. Ich hoffe Ihr habt Weihnachten gut überstanden?
Ich bin auf jeden Fall gut davon gekommen und bin vom Weihnachtsmann mit einem eigenen Laptop beschenkt worden.
Von meiner kreativen Seite ist im Moment nicht viel zu sehen, da ich im Moment sehr viel in Stavanger arbeite, und damit auch sehr zufrieden bin.
Auch wenn uns noch ein Tag im alten Jahr übrig bleibt möchte ich trotzdem allen die diesen Blog besuchen schonmal einen "Guten Rutsch" ins Jahr 2010 wünschen.

Ønsker dere alle en vel overstått jul. Håper dere har fått mange fine gaver fra julenissen, jeg for min del fekk en flott laptop. For tiden kan jeg ikke vise dere så mye av min kreative side da jeg jobber en god del i Stavanger og er fornøyd med det. Men jeg ønsker dere alle et riktig godt nytt år.

Zeit verfliegt/ Tiden flyr/ Not enough time

Also, ich schäme mich wirklich:(. Aber bei mir haperts echt an Zeit fürs bloggen, gerade jetzt in der Vorweihnachtszeit.
Allerdings haben wir auch ne Zeit flach gelegen, was heisst die ganze Familie war krank. Ich war aber auch fleissig, speziell was spinnen, stricken und karden angeht.

Das obere Bild ist eine Nahaufnahme meines Dreieckstuch welches ich aus meiner selbstgesponnenen Alpackawolle gemacht habe. Ich wollte erst etwas mit Muster stricken, aber die Wolle kam ohne Muster besser zur Wirkung.

Unteres Bild ist unsere eigene Wolle frisch vom Schaf gekardet. Sie sieht fantastisch aus und lässt sich super verspinnen .

Und noch etwa: Die liebe Andrea von der Seifenmaus, hatte mich mit einem Kreativ Award geehrt, welches ich supernett fand:)

Ich habe diesen Award aber noch nicht eigestellt, nicht um unhöflich zu sein. Aber ich meine Ihn noch nicht verdient zu haben,...bitte nicht böse sein:p

Desverre var vi en del utslått med sykdom i familien og jeg føler tiden flyr så at det blir lite tid til blogging. Men her et par nye bilder av mitt trekantskjerf hviltet jeg har strikket ut av alpakkatråden jeg har spinnet selv og av ullet jeg har kardet av sauene til svigers:) Det ble nydelig.

Jeg har ikke vist så mye om såpene mine i det siste, men jeg holder det fortsatt gående:)

Hello, iam back again. Iam quite busy and the whole family has been ill too. Now we all are well but busy days before christmas and some work to do too:/

But I wanted to show you all my last work with wool i have done. The cardet wool is from our own sheep and the shawl have i made with the alpakka wool i spun earlier. Iam verry happy with the result of it:)

Sykdom

Jeg har nok ikke glemt bloggen min, men for tiden er vi nok alle ganske utslått. Etter at jeg kom heim fra Stavanger har alle i familien vært syke og nå til slutt ble det min tur. Jeg har begynt å strikke et skjerf fra den nydelige alpakken jeg spinnet for noen uker siden. Det tenker jeg å presentere snart.
