I hope you had all a very good x-mas and a good start into the new year. Here it was quite good. Kids were pleased with presents and we all had a good time together.
I got myself some Knit Pro needles for x-mas and they are so wonderful to knit on that I finished my shawl Birch http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/falling-birch-leaves which I wrote earlier about.
Yesterday I washed it and tried to block it, but it was not working as good as I wanted. So I had to improvise a bit cause I have no blocking wires or something like it. ( Have to spend some money on it for the next project:p :)
Anyway, here I show you the result from my improvising and I became quite pleased with it.
Yes, I am still an amateur when it comes to Lace but I am working on it to become better. Still I think for my first blocking it`s not too bad.
The shawl is about 2 metres long and about 45cm wide on the smallest part.
Oh wow, der Schal ist ja wunderschön geworden. Und mit der Farbe liegst du voll im Trend!

Dein Schal ist wunderschön geworden und die Spannerei geht von mal zu mal besser von der Hand. Leichter ist es sicher mit Metallstäben ... dann braucht man halt nicht so viele Nadeln stecken ;-)
